Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Petvo™ mobile app, websites, Cloud Tag™ accessories, and related services (the “Services”) provided by Petvo Labs LLC (“Petvo™,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using Petvo™, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Petvo™ is a pet health, records, and identity platform. Owners maintain secure pet profiles, medical history, and care details, and can share access with trusted people. A Cloud Tag™ accessory can give finders instant access to a public profile the owner has chosen to share if a pet is found.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Petvo™. If you use Petvo™ on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must promptly update account and pet information when it changes.
• You may not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users, pets, or Petvo™.

4. Pet profiles, tags, and shared access

• You represent that you are authorized to create and manage profiles for the pets you add.
• Cloud Tag™ accessories and digital profiles can help with everyday care and recovery; they do not guarantee that a lost pet will be found or returned.
• You control what finders can see through privacy and Lost Mode settings. Choose carefully before enabling contact details.
• If you approve co-owners or shared access, those users may view or edit information according to the permissions you grant.
• Deactivated or unlinked tags may no longer display live pet information.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Petvo™ for unlawful, misleading, harassing, or abusive purposes
• Upload content you do not have the right to use
• Attempt to access another user’s account, pets, tags, or orders without authorization
• Interfere with or reverse engineer the Services except where permitted by law
• Use Petvo™ to spam finders, scrape data, or compromise security
• Claim ownership of a pet or tag you are not entitled to manage
• Submit fraudulent product reviews or manipulate referral tracking
• Create fake referral activity, self-referral abuse, or automated click fraud

6. Purchases, payment, and personalization

Physical Petvo™ Cloud Tags™ and related products may be sold through our website. Prices, taxes, shipping options, and availability are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• You must provide accurate contact and shipping information.
• Personalized products use the pet name, photo, and notes you submit. You represent you have the right to provide those materials and that they are suitable for production.
• We may decline or request a replacement photo if personalization content is unclear, unlawful, or cannot be printed safely.
• Printed colors and crop framing can vary slightly from on-screen previews.

7. Fulfillment and shipping

Delivery estimates shown at checkout or in order updates are estimates, not guarantees. Shipping times may vary due to personalization, carrier delays, weather, or address issues. Tracking numbers, when available, are provided for convenience.

8. Returns and refunds

Because many shop items are personalized make-to-order products, return and refund eligibility may be limited. For questions about an order, contact support@petvo.app with your order details. Defective or incorrect items should be reported promptly so we can help.

9. Product reviews

• You may submit product reviews based on your genuine experience.
• Reviews are subject to moderation and may be approved, rejected, or removed.
• By submitting a review, you grant Petvo Labs LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use the review content to operate and promote the Services.
• Do not include private personal information about others in a review.

10. Referrals

Referral links may be offered to track how customers share Petvo. Referral tracking does not create a guaranteed reward, discount, or payment. We may change or discontinue referral tracking at any time. Fraudulent referrals are prohibited.

11. Marketing consent and transactional email

• Marketing or newsletter consent is optional and separate from purchases.
• Buying a product does not subscribe you to promotional email.
• We may send transactional emails related to orders, account/security notices, and beta access.
• Promotional emails include an unsubscribe link so you can opt out anytime.

12. Intellectual property

Petvo™, our logos, product design, software, and related materials are owned by Petvo Labs LLC or its licensors. You retain rights to the pet photos and content you upload, and you grant Petvo™ a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Services (including personalization and, for approved reviews, public display).

13. Third-party services

Petvo™ relies on third-party platforms (such as Apple, Google, Stripe, Resend, and cloud providers). Your use of those platforms may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETVO LABS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT TAG SCANS, NOTIFICATIONS, PUBLIC PROFILES, SHIPPING TIMELINES, OR PERSONALIZATION MATCHES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUFFICIENT TO RECOVER A PET.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETVO LABS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, SHIPPING DELAYS, PERSONALIZATION DIFFERENCES, OR PET LOSS RELATED DAMAGES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PETVO FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Petvo Labs LLC from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your content, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

17. Termination

You may stop using Petvo™ at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
