Designed to work with Petvo tags and compatible writable NFC or QR-enabled products. Owners may eventually connect multiple access points—for example a collar tag, harness, carrier or service-dog vest—without creating duplicate profiles.

The Cloud Tag™ is a custom pet ID tag that opens owner-approved information quickly. It is not a GPS tracker, and it is not the whole product.

Someone who finds your pet can open the public details you chose to share, without installing Petvo. Private records stay private unless you share them.

What is Petvo™?

Petvo™ is the owner-controlled digital identity and records platform for pets. Petvo tags are the premium, ready-to-use way to open that identity. Designed to work with Petvo tags and compatible writable NFC or QR-enabled products.

Is Petvo only for Petvo tags?

No. Petvo tags are the simplest recommended experience. The identity lives on Petvo. Connecting compatible outside tags is being built and is not available yet.

Can I use a tag I already own?

Not in the current production or beta app. Pairing a compatible writable NFC tag, QR product, or custom accessory is coming soon. Join the beta to follow that work, or start with a Petvo tag today.

Will every NFC tag work?

No. Blank or rewritable NFC tags, QR products, and hardware that supports a custom URL may be compatible. Some companies lock their NFC tags to proprietary systems, and those may not be reprogrammable.

Can multiple tags connect to one pet?

That is the planned direction: one pet, one Petvo identity, more than one compatible access point. Multi-tag pairing is not live yet.

What information is stored on the physical tag?

The tag stores or opens a Petvo profile link. It does not store private medical documents directly on the chip.

Can someone see all my pet’s medical records by tapping the tag?

No. A finder should only see the public information you chose to share. Private records stay in Petvo unless you share them.

Does Petvo replace my veterinarian’s medical records?

No. Petvo is a portable, owner-controlled layer that complements clinic records. It does not replace official veterinary medical-record systems, and it is not a substitute for veterinary care.

Is Petvo a GPS tracker?

No. Petvo does not track live location. NFC and QR products do not continuously broadcast location, and Petvo cannot guarantee a pet will return home. Connecting a compatible location tracker to the same Petvo profile is a future platform vision, not something available today.

Will Petvo connect to location trackers or other pet devices?

That is part of Petvo’s long-term platform vision: one identity that may later include compatible location trackers, activity devices, and smart care products. Those connections are not available in the current production or beta app. We will not list or promise a specific company’s product until an authorized, working integration exists.

What happens when my pet changes collars or tags?

The Petvo profile stays with your pet. Replace or move a Petvo tag to the new collar. Connecting a different compatible tag to the same profile is coming soon.

Can service-dog or rescue organizations use their own hardware?

That is a planned capability for compatible writable NFC, QR, or custom-link products. It is not live yet. Organizations can partner with Petvo now, including exploring co-branded Petvo tags.

How do I join the beta?

Order a Cloud Tag™. Your beta request is submitted automatically. After personal review and approval, you’ll receive a Petvo email with TestFlight install steps for a compatible iPhone. You can also submit a request from Join the Beta.

How do I buy more stickers or magnets?

Open the Petvo Shop, choose stickers, a magnet, or the Premium Keepsake Bundle, upload your pet’s photo, and checkout. You do not need to buy another Cloud Tag.

Do I control what’s shared?

Yes. You choose what appears publicly and who has shared access in the app. Shared access can be revoked in the app.

The tag may change. Their identity stays with them.
